Daily has not covered all sides of Bowling situation
To The Daily: I keep reading about Priceville High School. When is The Daily going to get the other sides of the problem? All this talk but I have not read anything about what Guy Bowling has said. Not once have we read one word about what the students at the school have to say or what they feel about Bowling. I understand there were some sad students because Bowling was being made to leave. Students who did not really like Bowling were wanting him to stay because he cares about them. We just keep hearing what the school board wants; what about the students? Would they not know a little more about what is going on in their school? Has The Daily reporter checked out to see about Bob Balch promising several families in the Priceville area if they would help him get elected he would get rid of Bowling? I would also like to know if the school board thinks just the Priceville voters can put them back in office? There are more of us who vote than just Priceville. Sam Cowart

So do you want to know a little more that goes on at Priceville? Well lets start with the principal that was wiping cafeteria tables during junior high lunch and also used his table wiping cloth to twist it up and the pop a young girl on the rear during some of his horseplay. Would you really want your child around this person now just because they cared for him.
I believe he meant he would like to hear from the students at Priceville not a parent from Eva who obviously doesn't like Bowling. I think he should be repromanded for his actions but I also think it should be looked into a little more thoroughly by people outside of the Morgan County School Board buddy system. If he is so terrible why is he being moved to another school, if they really had grounds for anything he would be fired not simply moved. I challenge you to go to any other school and find the principal wiping cafeteria tables! For his faults Bowling has definitely done an excellent job at any school he has been to. Has anyone ever bothered checking into the scores that a school post after he has been there a couple of years? You can notice the difference of Priceville school just by driving down Hwy 67 and the person you would see out there doing it was the principal, in the summer out there in the 90 degree weather, alone. Compare the test scores from a Buy Bowling school to the test scores of the school that the new Brewer principal came from. It is simply a vendetta by Balch, it is obvious and anyone with any sense can see that.

i'm not just a parent from EVA sam ,i am an employee in the morgan county school system that was working at priceville school and was in the cafeteria when this happened. I saw this i did not hear this. So lets dont try to cover this up with excuses that "Deborah is just a parent from eva." obviousley you do not have a daughter at Priceville. Or maybe I missed out on something and since this was Mr Guy Bowling it's ok to pop young girls on the butt. Inapproaite behavior no matter who it is. If he is sent to Eva, my daughter would not be there anymore because , guess what ? I love my child, what about you Mr. Sam?
