The good and bad
of men and women
A New York woman told a reporter that President Barack Obama gives hope to single black women for finding a mate. She went on to say Obama’s name has become “shorthand for a black man with integrity, character and spirituality,” who loves his wife and children. The woman said she was looking for her “Barack.” Other women gave similar comments in the Associated Press story. True, being president of this country, Obama has exceeded all minorities and most white people in politics. To say that Obama is the only black man with integrity, though, is wrong. These women are obviously from failed marriages or relationships and the bitter comments about black men are remnants from their unfortunate experiences. The women spoke of Obama’s education, and his physical appeal. His wife, Michelle, is well suited for him. She, too, is well educated and attractive. There are good men in every race and there are bad. The same goes for women of all races. The women should be more selective in their relationships with men.

Tell her she can have my Barrack. I don't need him.
I wouldn't give you a dime for a "truck-load" of Barrack's.
One of the things I am still troubled with, is the fact that so many (especially the 'minorities') are overly accepting of the fact that Obama is of mixed race-- raised by his caucasian mother and caucasian grandparents-- yet he chooses to acknowledge only half of his heritage and is NOW even turning into “shorthand for a black man with integrity, character and spirituality,” who loves his wife and children." What would they have said if he chose to be "white" and marry this side of his race? Probably nothing because he never would have made the the transition to the first "mixed race" individual to become President.
In my eyes, this should be considered insulting to any "black man" considering the source of the deeming of the term. Looking at Mr. Obama's upbringing, I don't see much to pat him on the back for; he was raised by good people and turned out to appear as he does. If he had faced the struggles that many young "black men" (and women, for that matter) still go through today and overcame hardship to become what he is, maybe there would be a glimmer of sympathy from "the other side." But, to have his name become "“shorthand for a black man with integrity, character and spirituality,” who loves his wife and children," I just don't "get it." I suppose white women should all be looking for their Bill Gates-- a white man with drive, a successful business, and billions to boot; who also loves his wife and children... Both statements are just as ridiculous.
Bill, you and Grace should get together. I bet you already have matching sheets.
So ZZ - Bill and Grace are not fans of Barrack that doesn't make them racist. But keep on tryin' to paint anyone the questions him a racist, that does appear to be standard now.
Another example is Billy Jackson, he might be a good husband and father but knows nothing about politics .
