Firefighters battle Somerville blaze

About 25 Somerville and Priceville firefighters responded to a fire at a two-story house off Alabama 67 in Somerville on Saturday morning. Firefighters couldn’t save the house but kept the fire from spreading to an abandoned store a few feet away.

The address of the store front is 3607 Alabama 67.

A Priceville police officer on patrol saw the fire from several miles away at about 2 a.m.

There were no injuries.
