MADISON — Gov. Bob Riley gave out $34 million in federal stimulus money Thursday to school systems in Lawrence, Limestone and Morgan counties. During a press conference at Madison he said the interest free money for capital projects will go to:Hartselle City, $22.1 million; Decatur City, $1 million; Limestone County, $6.1 million; Lawrence County, $4.8 million.
