Chaplain charged with rape

DOTHAN (AP) — Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes says the office’s chaplain has confessed to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Dothan girl.

Hughes said Friday that detectives arrested 53-year-old Curtis Otha Grant and charged him with one count of second-degree rape, five counts of second-degree sodomy and five counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.
