A rocket-engine export ban being discussed in Russia’s security council could be disastrous for United Launch Alliance, analysts predict.

On Aug. 27, the Russian newspaper Izvestia reported the ban would cease export of the RD-180 engine, which is used to power the Atlas V rocket produced by United Launch Alliance.
