Hope her child was not given back to her

Another dope head with kids.

What exactly is a welfare check? Who asks that one be conducted? Who authorizes it? And, for what reason is a welfare check conducted?

They are conducted for this very reason. To save the lives of children who are living with irresponsible parents that are cheating the real tax payers. Take the child and use my taxes to care for him or her and throw the two low life parents in a hole.

anyone can report suspected child abuse/neglect to DHR, who authorizes it, & they send someone to physically check on the welfare of the child (children) in question. if they are found to be in danger, they are removed from the parental care & usually placed with willing relatives for at least six months.

Who would even question how a child welfare check is conducted and for what reason? I say great job and a blessing for this child that someone cared enough to check on it and get it out of that situation. Hopefully they won't get the child back.

well, Deja wasn't questioning the reason for it. i think they just wanted to understand it better. & my hope for that family and others like them is that they get their lives together and do regain their children. b/c families belong together & apparently everyone overlooks the fact that these kids love their parents, no matter what their mistakes. they're non-judgemental like that. for the very young children, it must be horribly confusing not knowing where mommy is. so i hope they invite God into their lives & reunite.
