How convenient...
this is one story about misused tax money i have been reading about for a while. with one resigning i would not think too much of it.....but when half of the members dont like the smell of the fruit, and leave to keep from being involved in "missing taxpayer money", somebody is going to eat corndogs. there was a story a month or so back about a lady being appointed to that board with 30 years of book keeping knowledge, but then all of a sudden poof she was not on the board. could it be the others did not want someone there who could see what was going on. on top of that kerby, and cain, just gave all the "remaining members" life long appointments.....hhhhmmmmmm. hanky panky, shell game, money might be a good reason for that move. who is buying a new house, or car, or going to france for vacation. if i come to lawrence county, would you give me 23 million and forget about it. with medicaid, medicare, and prescription drug fraud running wild, this could be a large problem for the taxpayers. im not good at math....but there seems to be a lot of money going somewhere, and this caine guys name keeps comming up. he must know where it is but aint telling. decatur should contact him for city council he has the pat answer...........I DONT KNOW, BUT IT AINT MY FAULT......
Wheres the MONEY?
Another case of Tax payer money being misused.
it is time to get the federal people involed in this mess. and it not going to get better till we get rid of caine.
i agree, columbo, magnum, sgt friday, nypd blue, csi,........somebody who will not just listen to cain and wag their head, kerby has just been APPOINTED, but he may know something. im kinda old, and if they are trying this hard to cover this money up, someone who knows will talk. i think you taxpayers in lawrence county should flood the next commission meeting, and the hospital board meeting, and demand real answers, to real questions. 23 million is a lot of money for any county to lose. find out who got it and make them pay it back, along with going to eat corndogs. maybe mitchell can borrow some of that 100 k from bartlett to keep the dogs comming
just in.....cain and the bi-polar doctors at the hospital board meeting yesterday, were doing the victory dance, they think they now have total control of the hospital. now watch the BONUSES flow into the hands of people who are covering up for the crooks . the four members of the board in cains pocket, voted to give cain indemnification, this means if he stole money or misplaced money, or moved incriminating records, or burned those records, the hospital cant charge him, and the hospital will have to pay his legal fees. now how much control do you need to be able to steal money from the hospital, and have the hospital pay his legal fees. who sat back and allowed one person to take control of a hospital board. cain has been trying to cover this mess up for a long time. KERBY is the chairman of the commision if he wants to prove that he is not a shill, lame duck, political appointment, he needs to dig in and protect the taxpayers money, which should be used for the good of the hospital. whoever took or misplaced this tax money on top of going to jail, should have to repay any money found to be missing, or misused. if you or i told the i r s we lost our records, would that work, NOT ......this is federal money, and local taxpayer money missing, heads should roll. could the investigators looking into illegal pain killer scripts issued from the hospital, also be looking at the "cooked books". where IS the money set aside for the NEW HOSPITAL, which was promised several years ago, where is the missing 23 million, why were three of the ranking experienced members of the board so convinced of the wrong doing that they resigned in protest, to protect their good names. im in hope that sick people will have a place to be treated with confidence, in lawrence county for a long time. but it will not happen if the sink is not pluged.
