This is going to be great thing for Decatur when it opens. Our family has been going to Monaco because the facilities and movie watching experience is just heads above what is available in Decatur, thus worth the drive. It will be nice to have a comparable theater in town.

Monaco is great but the parking situation there is a bit much! We quit going there more than a year ago. The tickets are more expensive and most of their theaters are really small! Restaurants around Monaco are pricey and the wait time is way too long! Carmike on 14th already has better projectors & sound than Regal! Wish they would make a dollar moive theater at the old Carmike since a lot of folks from Decatur go the the one in Huntsville. Wish they would get a Tellini's in Decatur since they are a great place to eat in Huntsville with no waiting time, great food, reasonable prices, good service and a very clean place to dine! Very anxious to see the new Carmike open at the mall! Maybe J C Penney could be convinced to open in the old Dillard's building! Sear's big changes have really hurt that end of the mall but they do have mattresses now! WOW! We may need another in 8 or 10 years! How's that working for ya Sear's? Belk's remodel looks great now and they have great sales too!

I do no tknow how anyone could want to go to the carmike on 14th , it smells like an old bar and the heat never works , the air never works and the seats and floors are sticky and stink , we go to the cinemagic in Athens and its a wonderful experience and the prices are great to they also have a drive inn
