if any school admins ever proposed LOWERING tuition, i'd eat my hat. what are you spending all this $ on, dr glenn?
About 80% of our budget is personnel cost, and since there has been no across the board increase in salary for the faculty and staff, I think it is time to consider that possibility. One also has to consider that our cost of operation has continued to increase while our allocation from the state has been cut by 30% over the last four years. I think it is also fair to note that in the last five years ASU has raised tuition only twice, while all other baccalaureate institutions have done so annually. We don't want to resort to raising tuition to solve all of our financial problems, but I think it may be time to consider some kind of increase. Bob Glenn
