Tyler McCarley rushed for three touchdowns as the Tigers cruised past Pope Johh Paull II for a Class 4A, Region 7 win. McCarley scored on runs of 4, 7 and 2 yards, helping Ardmore (5-2, 3-2 in Region 7) take a 22-7 lead into halftime.
Ardmore began to pull away in the third quarter. Garrett Miller threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Hayden Durrett, and Zach Ellis ran for a 35-yard score to give the Tigers a 24-point cushion after three quarters.
Ardmore finished with 330 yards on the ground while holding Pope John Paul II to 181 total yards.
