So once again Decatur Emergency Medical Services is fighting a 4 week deadline to keep their license. Nice going folks . . . vvveeerrrryyy nice.

It's a sinking ship....management is terrible!

City had smae issue at Boat Harbor...no reports...how does go on for 2 years?????

The boat harbor issue is not just 2 years old. It goes way back.It appars to be resolved though. Give the individual a chance to perform on that one.

DEMSI did everything they could to stop First Response from operating and saving lives here in Decatur. They deserve this and more! They were the only ambulance service in Decatur for 14 years and they defaulted on loans? What was the owner thinking? Maybe he was thinking that if no one else came into Decatur then he'd be fine because no one would say anything to shut down the only ambulance service that we had! WRONG! Pay your bills with the money that you get from your clients and your client's insurance, it's called being a responsible business owner and not out to put as much money in your pocket as you can! If he had to take out a loan to get the business going, then what has he done in his personal life to pay his bills? Maybe the DD needs to look into that aspect of this story!

Where is any information on the other service? They have faults also I am sure. Can we not find any information or defaults on the other company as well. Maybe the DD needs to look that company also.

First of all First Response turned in a audited financial statement to the city and DEMSI never has turned one in..because they are hiding things from the city, now they are trying to hide from the banks..the bigger story is that the owner of DEMSI has also defaulted on a 8.5 million loan and you can look it up online google Reliance bank VS Roger Stanmore..DEMSI has taken short cuts for years and made a lot of money in Decatur and never put any back into the business or even invested a dime in Decatur..as far as I can see First Response has been doing a good job and they seem to have trucks everywhere...frim the looks of things they may have their heads on straight...But any way DEMSI needs to be out

All I know is that when First Respose came to town I have had peace and quite at night, they don't blair that siren at 3:30 am going down betty st.

Thank God
