Carson Jones and Jordan Simpson each belted a pair of singles and Jones plated an RBI to lead Lawrence County to an 8-5 win over Austin in the nightcap of a double header.
Clark LouAllen got the win on the mound, but the Red Devils used a collaborative effort from Blake Pulliam, Jones and LouAllen to stifle the Black Bears hitters.
The win came after Austin blanked the Red Devils 6-0 in the opener, leaving head coach Jason Gibson searching for answers to his team's fundamental issues.
Lawrence County stranded seven base runners in the shutout loss.
Tanner Reed took the loss on the mound in game one.

LCHS 6, Haleyville 3: Carson Jones picked up his second win on the mound this season. The senior hurler gave up just three runs on four hits.
Jordan Simpson led the Red Devils (4-2) with a double, single and a pair of RBIs.
Jones, Luke Lovelady and Clay Collins each had a single and RBI.
LCHS 11, Rogers 1: Lawrence County's bats were hot, despite playing in the snow against Rogers.
The Red Devils were led by Jordan Simpson, whoe had a pair of hits and scored twice in the game.

Zach Nichols picked up the win, striking out five Pirates.
LCHS 6, Colbert Co. 1: Preston Montgomery was the winning pitcher. He gave up just four hits and no runs with nine strikeouts in five innings of work.

Central-Florence 3, LCHS 1: The Red Devils were left empty-handed, as seven hits left 12 hitters on base in the Wilson Tournament game.
Jordan Simpson doubled and singled for Lawrence County. Tanner Reed added a double, while Cody Wilkerson, Luke Lovelady and Carson Jones singled. Jones also had an RBI.
Priceville 6-10, Hatton 5-0: Milik Orr tossed two innings of strong relief to earn the win, striking out two, as Priceville opened the doubleheader with a win.
Starting pitcher Mitchell Hallisey allowed one hit during five innings, striking out six, but failed to register in the decision.
Jake Hamilton led the Priceville offense with three hits.
Ryan Madewell shut the Hornets out in the second game, striking out eight in five innings as the Bulldogs (3-4) completed the sweep.
Madewell helped himself at the plate with a two-run homer, while Weston Hopkins added three singles.
