TUSCUMBIA - A Tuscumbia man was flown to Huntsville Hospital this afternoon after being shot by another man during an argument at a South Hickory Street house, police said.
The man was shot once in the chest and was listed in critical condition when he was flown from the scene. His name has not yet been released by police.
The shooting at 720 S. Hickory St. was reported at 1:06 p.m. by one of two witnesses at the residence, according to Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan.
He said the shooter and a woman left the residence in a cream color, small SUV.
Logan added the man was shot inside the residence but crawled outside where medical responders found him.
