Mo Brooks is a millionaire ! He doesn't care if the valley loses all those jobs and the rest of us take a severe pay cut. People need to stop party voting and vote some people in up there who will be level headed and vote to be sensible with tax cuts and spending cuts. He is playing to satisfy the tea party idiots.

Obama signed for this bill in 2011 .Look it up !

James, I agree totally with you comments. Members of congress and senate only care about their $179,000 Salaries..

Voting straight party ticket does not always elect the best candidate.. Be careful who you vote for as you may not like them once they are elected.

You have people in Congress that have made being a Leg. a lifetime living, and that needs to stop. They need term limits.

I say let it come. America has faced tougher tasks and have always come out stronger. It is time to truly fix all the give aways and wasted money the people in power have allowed to bring this country to its knees. There is a limit to every budget and our government needs to run this country with responsibility just like every citizen has to manage their own finances. Wake up people there really is no money tree!

3.

b.

4.

Chemistry . the combining of metallic ions with a suitable reagent into a stable, soluble complex in order to prevent the ions from combining with a substance with which they would otherwise have formed an insoluble precipitate, from causing interference in a particular reaction, or from acting as undesirable catalysts.

I tend to agree with Steve. This sounds like a liberal initiative, but I don't see it that way. I am a conservative and I believe our defense budget is ready to be reduced, based on the newer technologies that are available to the defense department. At least 10 percent of the budget is being used to maintain equipment and technology that should be taken out of service, i.e. aircraft, marine vessels and transportation assets. Millions are spent in Huntsville to develop the new technologies, e.g. drones and defense missiles. With that, there is an equal amount of personnel that can be trimmed. Measures like this is happening to businesses across the country. The U.S. government is no exception to becoming leaner. As for our defense, I don't see China as a physical threat to our country. I do see a threat from the nation of Islam, but we will have the assets to fend off such a threat.

There you go repuks. Put an Idiot like mo brooks in office.Brooks fits this next ststement prefectly. This was told to me a long time ago by an OL TIMER : ( If you got all the money you'll ever need and don't give a damn I mean DON'T give a DAMN about nobody else republican is the way YOU need to go & YOU are what they want in their party.) We couldn't help but hear we give the rich the massive tax cuts and there will be a trickel down effect. ROFLMFAO!! This what that IDIOT brooks is still trying to push. Because he's one of them that OL TIMER WARNED me about.

We need to protect our own. This administration is to much like Hollywood. We will suffer in the years to come because our president is trying to rewrite history. We should have learned from our past mistakes but it sure seems like we are going in circles.

Cuts in budgets are always ok until they hit your area of interest. If one looks at the morning traffic headed out of Decatur towards Huntsville it's clear that many Decatur citizens work in the Huntsville area. We can assume that most of these commuters are not headed to minimum wage jobs, but jobs associated with NASA, Red Stone Arsenal, or the hundreds of businesses in Huntsville that support both government agencies. Furloughs due to sequestration will impact our local economy.

A balanced approach is needed to address our fiscal house. Cuts nor tax increases alone will solve the problem, it's going to take both.

We have this problem because we have spent $16 Trillion more than we have collected in revenue. It's got to stop at some point. Start with cutting the free cell phones.

Term limits....Term limits! Americans are SLOW to react and SLOW to act. We the people are the employer of these folks elected. If we did our jobs like these folks elected.....we would have been fired quickly. Here it is in a nutshell DON'T DO THE JOB IN THE AMOUNT OF TIME ALOTTED....GO HOME!!! Vote all incumbants OUT! Don't allow them to stay in Washington (on our dime) until they die (with millions of our money in their bank accounts) Are the American people not tired of being taxed on the same dollar over and over agian. Then when you die your children will be taxed on the same dollar you leave them (if there is anything to leave) Washington PLAYS us. Special intrests groups and lobbying should be made ILLEGAL....all these groups do is BRIBE lawmakers and say it is legal. We are going to have to use COMMON SENSE across the board.....and make changes or this country will implode from within. For the lower to middle class....we will be the one who sill suffer the most.

We already have term limits there called elections. What we need is education of the people making up their own mind on who they vote for instead of voting party lines.

We have had 3 tax increases this year already, its time for some cuts. I just dont think Defense should take the brunt of them.

Who will suffer wihen 15,000 plus federal employees in Huntsville are layed off? They will suffer along with the people who work in the service market places.

Mo Brooks is still trying to push the economic theory of money to the rich will trickle down and help the ecomony. OK, How many people do you know that have received jobs and salaries from the rich trickle down.?

Mr. Limestone, please explain how laying off people will help the economy?
