Congratulations! hang in there, Cahoots! Haven't been to Hartselle but the food and service in Decatur was excellent the one time I went.
Not sure I would hold that against Cahoots. The cashier is just an employee, most likely a teeanager who has no concept of running a business much less customer service. If you didn't, you should have conveyed your objection to his/her language and offered a quick 101 in customer service on the spot. Go talk to the owner or manager and relay your experience to them. Give them an opportunity to take corrective actions. If it were my business, I would appreciate knowing that my cashier was behaving in such a manner.
I have been to Cahoot's several times and while at times the service has been a little slow due to the place being completely packed with customers, I have never once had an issue with the friendliness of the staff. Including the cashier. I will be a returning customer for as long as the doors are open.
There's alway someboby with a negative attitude. Robert you should be thankful your town has a good place to eat. I live in Guntersville and there no where to get good fried chicken or pies, have never heard of CAHOOTS until reading this in the paper but we'll drive HARTSELLE and check them out.
Are sayng Robert has a negative attitude ? Sounds like good advice to me.
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HOME MADE PIES AND FRIED CHICKEN---IF OUR PRESENT POLITICAL TEAM CONTINUES ON THIS LOSEING ROAD TO NO WHERE----THE OBESITY PROBLEM WITH KIDS WILL BE SOLVED WITH NO ONE TO COOK FOR THEM===AND ROBERT---GOOD ADVICE
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY STILL TEACH BASIC COOKING IN SCHOOL---SINCE MOST MODERN DAY WOMEN HAVE FEW CULLINARY SKILLS ITS HARD TO TEACH THEIR OFFSPRING===SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE WORST HAPPENS===ITS CALLED SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.
What kind of misery must one be living to turn an article about the re-opening of a restaurant into a negative political statement.
Amen Dan, what in the world is Felinelover even talking about???
Beats me, bless her heart.
felinelover it's called Womens Lib, you wanted the same job and pay as men so we leared to cook LOL. and I might say better because we found grandmaws recipes loll.
Well I guess I'm an exception. Raised a boy and a girl. Taught them to be totaly independant. They knew how to sort clothes to wash, how to cook, how to WORK and save money and today both (I'm very pround to say)listen and learned. That also came from my grandmaw and grandpaw
SO DID I CG==MY OLDEST SON CAN OUTCOOK ME AND HIS WIFE. SAD SO MANY CANT EVEN OPEN A CAN. GUESS THEY WILL LEARN WHEN THEY GET HUNGRY ENUFF--OR WAIT FUR BAMA TO FEED EM.
Felinelover, please quit SHOUTING (typing in all capital letters). Why does the woman have to teach them to cook? Why can't the man? And don't give me any crap about men not cooking. There are more famous male chefs than females.
IM SURE YOUR FAMOUS BEN BUT NOT SURE ABOUT WHAT===CORRECTING OLD LADIES I SUPPOSE. MAKES ONE FEEL MASCULINE GRRRRRRRR POOR SOUL
Well Dan, there you go...Felinelover is an old lady. Her senility is the cause of her falling so far off the normal path of this discussion. Bless her heart. Maybe she will go cook us all some fried apple pies and fried chicken so that we can all be obese! Hahaha, I am laughing as I read how she wants mothers to stay home and cook fried foods, then complains that children are obese! What?
NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MOTHERS STAYING HOME AND COOKING===HALF OF THEM CANT COOK===SEEMS LIKE MY CONCERN WAS WE HAVENT TAUGHT OUR KIDS TO COOK. MY SON LEARNED ON HIS OWN. WHEN YOU LEARN TO READ R RE READ---AND WAY TO GO CAHOOTS SEE YOU TONIGHT. IM OFF ON MY BROOM LOOKIN FUR DAN AND R. GRRRRRRRRRRR.
Wow.............Merry Christmas to all.....................Glad to see you open again Cahoots........will visit soon.
I also am not a fan of the staff at cahoots. It was Bryan, who appears to still be there, that I had the problems with. The food is good, but some of the staff needs to learn how not to behave in front of customers.
