Clements' Alison Jay signs with Alabama-Huntsville

Alison Jay (front center) of Clements High signed Thursday to run cross country for Alabama-Huntsville. Shown at her side at the signing are her mom Miriam Jay and father Joseph Jay. Standing, from left, are Keith Hairrell, principal; Brian Gafford, Julian Owens, Troy Rogers and Kevin Davis, assistant principa and athletic director. She finished second at the Northwest Alabama Championships, and followed with an 11th-place finish at the Class 3A state meet as a senior in the fall.
