But we need a new statue built in Montgomery? Does this make any sense?

Never miss a chance to use scare tactics against the public in order to get more money. This is Obama's way...why not Montgomery??!

How bout this . . . when cuts have to be made, cut the salaries of those in charge 1st, not the "worker bees" (no disrespect intended). Bet you would see some things change very quickly and efficiency would go through the roof.

The open Borders of Mexico & Canada for the Trucking Industry is destroying the State of Alabama and many other States across the southeast. Point being we need more State Troopers on the Highways, and stricter enforcement of the traffic laws on trucks as they litter the Interstates with their re-treads. If the Governor along with Senator Orr really want to help Alabama they will pass a law (may already be on the books) that a 18 wheeler cannot run re-tread tires in the State of Alabama period.

The Trucking industry is costing the people of the State of Alabama millions each year in property damage, litter clean-up, and lives. Put the State Troopers at the State lines and have them work shifts enforcing the rules on trucks with some in other points of saturation, our safety will be better, and our revenue increase.

Then the Automobile travelers can travel at 100 mph without fear of being hit or caught. They are traveling that fast now

Need more hard working troopers that is not afraid to enforce the law, along with a Governor that will support them.

most of the time when I see a Trooper pulling someone over, it's a truck.

.

they can get $300 to $1500 fines easily out of a commercial vehicle, where a car speeding ticket is $160-$180 average

they need to make due with what they got like the rest of us.....

Yet, in exactly one month, members of the legislature will get ANOTHER AUTOMATIC PAY INCREASE......you know, pursuant to the law THEY passed in 2008.
