I'm really surprised they didn't find some reason to arrest the man in the pickup! That's just how they roll here in Decatur....
I agree Brandi - tho not just decatur.
Wow, judge all cops as one...a couple of real open minded fair people Brandi and Ronald, bet yall got a mug shot to go with it...
Real up to date news DD, happened on Saturday reported on late Tuesday night....news room off on weekends? If the officer had been accused of breking the law, front page, pics next day. That is how the press rolls in Decatur.
FYI THOR, I've never even had a traffic citation hun :) just my observations. This is America, free speech is allowed. Thank you.
How hard is it to use a turn signal? Cops are the worst, and I say the worst, because they are supposed to representing. People have gotten too lazy to use a turn signal while driving but can burn up a cell phone or computer while driving. I was southbound on Clearview turning left on Spring Ave. I triggered the light to turn green while a car coming from the opposite direction got to the intersection about the time I was gonna turn left, my signal was on. I yielded my turn for the lady, who was blabbing on a cell phone, holding something in her other hand that was on the steering wheel. She proceeded to the middle of the intersection and stopped, looked at me like I was crazy, and threw her hands in the air like I was doing something wrong. Turns out she was wanting to turn left and go towards Wal-mart. Had she signaled and been paying attention, we could have easily maneuvered this simple act of driving. Since she was being a baffoon, I eased up and asked her if her turn signals worked? She said yeah, and I said hang up and use them then. She flipped me off and moved on down the road. All that for simple, common sense, driving etiquette. Hang up and drive people. You are not important.
