Wow! What a shocker! The Daily takes another chance to slam Brookhaven! Has it ever even been considered that there are teachers at Brookhaven who are trying everything they can to help these kids succeed, despite nearly impossible odds? The continued Brokhaven bashing is demoralizing to students and teachers. It does not help, and just exacerbates the problem. Hey guess what? oak Park didn't make Ayp either! It is only their first year, but why aren't we hearing that? Here is an idea.... Offer support and solutions rather than continually harping on the weaknesses.
