This is so terrible, I knew Mark and he was such a nice guy!!! Do we know anything about the other occupant in the car at the time of the shooting?! Was he involved? Did he get shot too?

Sad to hear, prayers go out.

Legit question: Why is it that all other news sources can report about breaking news like this in our town but DD is usually last to report it on-line?

Mention of another occupant and it being a woman. Is she a suspect or a witness?

Possible suicide?

Who called the shooting in? Were there drugs or alcohol involved? Was there a weapon found at the scene? Why was the woman occupant not named? What happened to her?

I'm guessing the guy killed himself in front of his girlfriend and the cops are trying to keep the details private out of respect for his family.

Why? the autopsy.

Any time there is a murder/suicide there is always an autopsy. Even though you know it was a gunshot wound to the head, still have to have an autopsy to verify cause of death.

Sure about that? The guy commits suicide in front of a witness. Of all times, I'd think this would not warrant an autopsy.

Ben, what if the witness is lying?
