Alot of people just need to slow down

be nice if they would put down their phones and watch what they are doing. I still see people texting in another world. THey do not care if they hit you or really know where they are or what they are doing. It,s ridiculous to see them weaving all over the road and reading or typing almost hitting cars. Had a woman hit me in the rear last year I could see her looking at her phone and typing as she hit me.Actually accelerated in to me I was sitting dead stopped

Traffic lights in Decatur are horrible. Most need to be on sensors and not timers. Stopping on Beltline road at Beltline and Modaus is ridiculous! The light stops Beltline traffic and holds for traffic coming out Plum Tree shopping center (i think) and holds when nobody is even coming from either direction except on Beltline. Beltline and Sandlin is another light that holds green for Sandlin going south for too long creating a huge back up on Beltline. By the time traffic gets to go on Beltline from Sandlin, it's 30 - 40 cars deep in both lanes and someone northbound Beltline trying to turn into Serra Toyota will have to sit there blocking the turn lane until all that traffic clears only because the Sandlin light held too long for no traffic. Traffic lights + Decatur = Waste of traffic stops for no reason other than lights being out of time. Decatur traffic lights create more traffic than helping the flow. They work backwards. I'm gonna make a video one day at how off the lights are compared to traffic flow on 6th. Ave. and Beltline. Prospect Drive and Gordon is another messed up situation.

rRebecca, Modaus rd. is being used more and more each day. It's easier to go down Modaus than the Beltline because of the traffic lights and Heavy usage. The light is timed to let Beltline traffic go freely during rush hours so that's why the crossing the beltline is light in traffic. Many cars line up to make a left turn to go on Modaus to avoid the heavy traffic on the Beltline. There is only 3 traffic lights from the Beltline to Old Mounton rd. How many do you thin is on the Beltline in that distance?

Number 5: Beltline and Spring Ave. A lot of accidents can be avoided if only the Police would pay attention to the taffice fromWimderly Dr. turning LEFT onto Spring rd. I bet 3 out out 10 cars turn left and the sign says N" LEFT TURN. Blow you horn at these people and they do't pay attention to you. They hold up traffice from turning RIGHT. I waited for 2 Semi Trucks to turnLEFT onto Spring rd. If the police would patrol this area, they could buy a new Plice Car with the finescollect every 3 months.

Orville - Police are there on a daily basis. Most people see the blue lights when they hit the right turn lane going onto the Beltline and pull over in the merge lane.

Just as much of a problem is the exit from Wal-Mart that crosses Spring going to Sims Street. This is an unusual intersection as the right lane is for turning right ONLY. The center lane is for turning left and going straight. There are signs hanging, but the arrows on the street need to be repainted. I see a near miss there on a regular basis. Typically, the person coming out of Wal-Mart is trying to go straight in the right lane and nearly hits someone turning left from Sims onto Spring. It never fails that the person in the WRONG lays on their horn and shouts obscenities.
