No need to waste money.

It would be worth the cost to save it since it is part of Decatur"s history. Most all of the historic buildings has already been destroyed in Decatur. Like the old river bridge and Gordon Bibb School. The old court House .

Go to the older towns like Moulton, Athens , Pulaski Tn. and talk to the people there and see how much they love the Old Courthouses that there city has saved. I think it is better to spend the money on something like that , that is part of the past history of Decatur that people will love than to spend it on some silly something that people doesn't care about.

Decatur has lost to much of it old building and History already. Wish Decatur could go back to like it was in the 50&60's when we were a smaller town and second ave. was the main part of town .
