Letter to the editor
Do the research before you vote

To The Daily: This newspaper, The Decatur Daily, thinks it knows what you, the reader, need to know. Any public news media trying to suppress and promote their values is wrong.

This newspaper aligns with a group called the mainstream media.

Recently, four Americans were killed in Libya. From President Barack Obama’s administration, Hillary Clinton and Jay Carney have confirmed the attacks were terrorist attacks. The president ignores this information and continues to say these attacks were the results of an angry demonstration about a film. This is not true.

There are many problems this president has generated that voters need to know. Before voting in November, research the current issues and cast the right vote. This is what this newspaper and the mainstream media do not want you to do.

@ Ronnie. So what say we declare another war to go along with the ones we are now engaged in and send more of our finest men and women to, at the very least be away from their families and at the worse to come home in body bags? No matter that some of them have already served as many as four tours in combat zones. This type of knee jerk reaction got us mired in at least one war which is still going on. This macho, big Texan, ego trip type reaction has already cost too many mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands and wives their loved ones.. Enough already because of big egos, Ronnie..

Agree with you Ronnie. Some people are still thinking for themselves.
