East Limestone High led by nine points at half and raced to a 71-46 win against Clements on Thursday night in high school basketball action.
East Limestone’s Jordon Gandy led all scorers with 20 points. Blake Tucker followed with 12 points for the Indians.
Harrison Russell had 12 points for the Colts.
Lauderdale County 55, West Limestone 49: Drew Newton led three Lauderdale County players in double figures as the Tigers.
Newton scored 19 points to lead Lauderdale County, while Nathaniel McCafferty scored 12 and Austin Christopher added 11.
The Tigers had a 24-22 lead at halftime and expanded it in the third quarter before holding on for the six-point victory. Nathaniel Adams led West Limestone with 13 points, while Caleb McConnell scored 11.
Wilson 71, Lawrence County 69: Lawrence County led at half 26-23 before Wilson stole the win in overtime.
Brennan Parrish led all scorers with 21 points, followed by Kenneth Henry with 19.
Girls basketball
Lawrence County 49, Wilson 25: Lawrence County took the lead early, outscoring Wilson 24-13 in the first half. Rachel Childress led all scorers with 23 points, followed by Adrien Coffey with 14.
Lauderdale County 63, West Limestone 49: Lauderdale County led by as many as 20 before West Limestone cut to nine. Chatara Cox led all scorers with 20 points,
