How much was the Sheriff's office charging?
Sheriff's office isn't the same as the 911 center.
.
However, Falkville will be sorry they contracted with the 911 center for dispatch. REAL SORRY. Decatur police and the Sheriff want "out" of using the 911 center for dispatch because of all the problems they've had with the company running it but have signed a multiyear contract.
Bob. The company running it is the government.
Bob, for one you obviously don't know what you are talking about. The "Sherrif" isn't trying to get away from 911 because they have NO part of 911. Second DPD has no issue with 911 they work very closely with their dispatch and the Sherrif's office couldn't handle dispatching for DPD hints why Falkville is leaving and going to 911. Also you are correct there is a MAJOR difference in dispatching because the 911 center does things professionally! Stop make uninformed comments!
