Falkville wins final two matches in area volleyball

FALKVILLE — The Falkville High volleyball team completed Class 1A, Area 11 play this week with 3-0 sweeps of St. Bernard and Meek.
The Blue Devils are 22-17 overall and finish second in area play with a 4-2 record. Area champion Addision hosts the area tournament Oct. 18.
Elizabeth Davis and Sydney Moore led Falkville in the two matches with 12 digs and 10 kills each. Tiana Drinkard had 11 kills and Emily Michelson had 10 in the wins.
Amber Riddle had 47 assists and Patricia Moore had 14 digs for the Blue Devils.
