Geez-Loueeze, Standford is such a boob.

I'm voting for Busbey! What a outstanding lady with 40 + years of experience.

Gail Busbey all the way!!!!!!! She is a classy lady! Gail is the breath of fresh air and sunshine this city needs!!!!!!!

No one more experienced. She has my vote and I hope everyone elses!!!!!! ;) Love you Gail!!!!!! ~~Kim

To Jerry~~ Please do not insult the womens anatomy LOL!

40 years of experience at what? coming in late..leaving early. remember this is the woman that was the direct supervisor of the person that embezzeled over $300,000! That is real experience, ain't it! She was appointed cfo by her cronie billy jackson and she was forced to retire or get fired for insubordination to the counsel. That's real experience, aint it?

Hey DECATUR- you're Mr. Don Standford I call you "Mr.", cauz you won't be Mayor much longer. {tee-hee}

Standford enjoy your gravy job while you have it.

I think Cole will bring youth and progressive thinking to the office. We simply do not need more of the past when it comes to taking Decatur into the future.

Decatur/Stanford~~~~ YOU get your information WHERE exactly? This sounded personal and made up to me!!!! Gail is gone because she knew more than the incoming and they (YOU) couldnt stand it!! Hell, my 11 year old knows more than you!

I went into this for Don Stanford. I am now for Cole. He is very impressive in person and on paper. We know what we get with the other two and Gail. He is somewhat an unknown quantity, but I like what I see and I think he's in it for the right reasons. I don't think we should hire Gail or Don to a hundred thousand dollar a year job when they couldn't get hired anywhere else in Decatur. Do either of them have jobs?

Busbey is the most qualified candidate running for mayor in Decatur.

Busbey qualified? You've never had to deal with her at city hall. Getting her to do her job was a big mess.

.

Remember she was the one in charge of the screwed up; construction of the fire stations. She was also the one who certified the accounting records of Ernestine Fletcher, who store $300k from the city over several years right under Busby's nose, and Busby supposedly was supposed to be checking her in audits.

.

If she can't keep one track of one employee, how can she keep another several hundred managed properly?

It is because I covered City Hall that I know her qualifications so well. For the same reason, I know she did not supervise Fletcher's work on the landfill accounts, the Finance Department and the budget director did.

Bob, you got your info from Standford I suppose?

Carl Cole is the only one of the four that seem to believe that when the people vote for something an elected official should follow thru. The other three appear to want you vote to continue what they want. What is your vote worth?

Athens News, you don't know what the h*** you're talking about, Fletcher was working for Busbey, not the finance department. You obviously didn't cover to much to not know that!!

Gail sued the city and got all that money now she gonna run for mayor if she wins I am moving. Give me a break people.
