This is an easy yes vote.
Great Program!
Mr. Henry must not appreciate our many State and National parks.
This vote is not whether to keep the lands and parks the state already has, it's to keep funding Millions of tax dollars to buy more and more land.
The state can not maintain the parks and lands it already has and does not need additional tax funds to buy more. Once the land goes into Forever Wild, it can NEVER be held by the public again, thus the name Forever.
The state does not need to be in the land business. They need to get to where they can take care of what they already have control of and quit the land graps.
Vote NO!
I have to disagree with Ed Henry on this. If the government's role wasn't to acquire land, we wouldn't have Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone Natl. Park, nor Denali National Park. However, it should concern everyone that each of these amendments continues to draw money from the oil windfall fund......how long before the well goes dry????
I still feel we don't need the government grabbing more land. Take care of what u got. There is a thing as having to much to handle. Restore what we have so we can enjoy there beauty. I vote NO
I am not against State Parks or National Parks. I just don't want the government overstepping there bounds. Start taking private property because it would make a great park. We already gave them too much freedom on how to spend our money.
Good grief, will you "NO" commenters please share with the masses what programs/items are worthy of State dollars? Clearly there are more economic geniuses commenting here than ever set foot in Montgomery, so let's hear it. It may be difficult for some of you to show your SUPPORT for a program/item as it takes far more effort to be positive than negative. But, here's your chance.
