In an effort to show support for Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, students at Hartselle High School staged a “Pink Out” on Monday, Jan. 28 during their home basketball games against Decatur High School.
Decatur defeated Hartselle’s boys 67-55. Lead scorers for Hartselle were Jamal Jackson with 17 points, Timbo Slayton with 15 points and Preston Adams with 10 .
The Lady Tigers defeated Decatur’s Lady Raiders 50-38. Lead scorers for Hartselle were Riley Terry with 15 points, Quanesha Burks with 11, and Allie Roden and Melissa Paul Hill, each with 8 points.
