Hartselle Community Calendar

The Hartselle Community Calendar is composed of a list of events in the Hartselle area. Items may be submitted by email to Jennifer.Hill@hartsellecourierjournal.com.

• HHS basketball. The Hartselle Varsity Girls Basketball team will play against Lawrence County at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at home. The Boys Varsity team will follow at 7:30 p.m.

• Civitan club. The Hartselle Civitan Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in room 10 of the Sparkman Civic Center.

• HHS basketball. The Hartselle Varsity Girls Basketball team will play against Brewer High School at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at home. The Boys Varsity team will follow at 8 p.m.

• Rotary club. The Hartselle Rotary Club will meet at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Sedona Steakhouse in Hartselle.

• Youth baseball. Hartselle Youth Baseball signups for the spring season will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 5, Feb. 12 and Feb. 19. The cost is $90. For more information, call the Sparkman Civic Center at 256-773-2581.

• Kiwanis club. The Hartselle Kiwanis Club will meet at noon Thursday, Feb. 7, at Sedona Steakhouse.

• Blood drive. Hartselle High School, coordinating with Life South, will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the girl’s gym.

• School Board. Hartselle City School Board will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, at Hartselle Junior High School for a regular meeting.

• City Council. The Hartselle City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Hartselle City Hall for a regular meeting.

• Rotary club. The Hartselle Rotary Club will meet at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Sedona Steakhouse in Hartselle.

• Civitan club. The Hartselle Civitan Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, in room 10 of the Sparkman Civic Center.
