Oct. 24 – Fall Day Trip, Hartselle members will take a fall day trip to area farmer’s markets with a picnic at Delano Park in Decatur. Members may meet at the Hartselle Center at 9:45 a.m. and ride the bus, to leave at 10 a.m.
Note: Local politicians are invited to speak at the Hartselle Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays in October. To set up a time call Dan Price at 256-773-0786.
The Hartselle Senior Center, at 406 Nanceford Road at the Sparkman Civic Center is open from 8 a.m. until noon Mondays through Fridays. Attendees must be at least 60 years old or attend with a spouse 60 or older. A lunch is served each day; also, meals can be delivered to the homebound. Other than joining each other for lunch, the seniors enjoy a variety of activities such as, weekly singings, playing cards, working puzzles, quilting, socializing, health screenings, reading books from their library, monthly birthday parties and more.
