Hartselle woman arrested for animal cruelty
The Hartselle Police Department received complaints last week about an abandoned dog with puppies at a house in the 1000 Block of Woodview Drive. According to reports, officers were told that a previous resident had left the dog and puppies when they moved out. Officers responded to the house and found that the dogs were in poor condition. The dogs were turned over to the custody of Animal Control, and a warrant was issued for the previous owner, Janice Elizabeth Bolding, 31, of Hartselle. Bolding turned herself into authorities without incident.
