Did he eat some old corndogs?

I knew that comment was coming

A man has lost his life!

True that a man has lost his life, but if he was driving under the influence (2 TIMES I MIGHT ADD) on our streets, he obviously had little regard for human life. Hard to get choked up about it.

Any time you don't get "choked up" over the dead of another human is time for you to look deep within your self! He had a disease....he was apparently an Alcoholic! A victim to a terrible disease. And perhaps he made some very bad choices in his short time here, but to overlook the fact that a human life was lost/ended, is so disgusting! Some of you people on DD never seem to amaze me with your pertinacious comments!

So Hermsan I can assume you got all choked up (disgusted) over the deaths of Sadam Hussain, Osam Bin Laden and the maggot that just massacred 20 children? Please. Go preach to someone who gives a %$@#.

Did he have the DISEASE before he went and bought the booze that turned him into an alcoholic? What disease caused him to go get the stuff? If you don't want to have the meth head disease or the crackhead disease then don't go buy the junk!!!!! Stop making excuses for people who want to be drunks or drug addicts! They have a choice. Are you also going to say people who steal have a disease too? Thats what their tax payer paid lawyer tries to tell the judge!! If that guy would have killed someone in your family while driving drunk whould you go to court and tell the judge to let the man go because he has a DISEASE???? You AMAZE me!!!!!

No, Roger, you inconsiderate dummies amaze me! Ya'll act like ya'll haven't ever done anything wrong! Ya'll get on here and are the 1st to leave a negative comment and not knowing the WHOLE story! What if, just what if, this man was a POW and the only way he could deal with daily life was with the help of alcohol? You know nothing about this man, but will be so cruel. And Tony, you are just a simple minded mf that surprises me you can even get on the internet! Like I said, this man died and if you don't feel some type of compassion, then you are immortal! And I will preach to the ones that don't give a &&&&&& cause, baby ya'll are the ones that need it the most!

Please give me ya'll whole name, so if I ever do anything, I don't want you bigots on my jury!!!! SIMPLE IS AS SIMPLE DOES!!! and you two, so called men, are SIMPLE!

And Tony, you know the old saying about when you ASSUME!!!

WOW Herman. You do have enthusiasm. I will give ya that. Resorting to name calling? I think I'm done here.

Don't need you preaching to me Hermie. Stop making excuses for poeple!!! I have never said that I am perfect but I guess you are. How about you give your whole name because I'm sure a prosecutor of some drunk that has killed some innocent soul does not want YOU on the jury!!!! You, Hermie are the DUMMY and nothing more than an excuse maker.

Not an excuse maker, but you don't know this person's story. And a life was lost!

I have learned to live with a little more disappointment each and everyday from my fellow man. Perhaps this man could have got help or other resources that was needed then he might not have been drinking and driving. In either case I will remain compassionate and for that I will not be ashamed.

Thanks herman for your compassion as well theirs still hope!

You don't know the persons story either. All I know is that he got 2 DUIs in less than four months. I'm done with you HERMIE!!!!

I am with Herman here. We don't know this mans story therefore the opinions and statements made on behalf of his death are merely just that, our opinions. God forbid any of you lose a loved one to addiction. I would assume your opinion might change a little. Whether he had 2 DUI's or 222 doesn't mean that his death doesn't matter or that we should rally in the streets. I am sure this man had people who loved him and are in serious pain right now. You're right, if he had killed someone close to you, me, or anyone else for that matter, opinions once again would be changed. The fact of the matter is that he DIDN'T. I say that if it's not your business, and you know zero details about the situation, leave it alone. It can come across as fairly cold and I think that is what bothers some of us, including myself.
