Hartselle police: No suspects in bank robberies
This surveillance photo shows the suspect in a Hartselle bank robbery Friday night.

HARTSELLE — While police believe the same man “is possibly responsible” for separate bank robberies at a Hartselle branch of Bank Independent last week, there are still no suspects in either heist.

A man on foot took undisclosed amounts of cash from tellers at the drive-through window on Tuesday night and Friday night at about the same time — near 8 p.m. — said Lt. Justin Barley, an investigator with the Hartselle police department.

“Search dogs came in Friday night from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, but the search did not yield any results,” Barley said. “We’re hoping that if someone has information, they will call. We will follow up on any lead, big or small, and callers will remain anonymous.”

Anyone with knowledge of the suspect should call police at 256-773-6534.

Maybe you could pull a patrol car off one of the speed traps to park up there at the bank.

If not for the speed traps, how do we pay for the 50 mil new school??????????

You've got a point there, Melissa -- LOL

Slow down and you don't have to worry about it. If not you desreve to get a ticket.

I'm not worried, Mike ... I observe the laws. I guess the point we were trying to make about PRIORITIES went right over your head.

I agree Rebecca---- LOL

They would probably have more info on the robbers if they made them come in and cut ot the curb servive robberies.
