Sheriff getting her name out on a Hartselle police arrest......Hmm...

Drug task force is part of the Sheriffs department. No conflict with Ana's name being used. Don't get Sheryl Marsh started again.

The are some people who will take the smallest thread of hair and use it to say something negative against Ana Franklin. How pathetic.

Just thankful he is off the streets.

Isn’t that the truth? I'm no fan of Anna Franklins but the one thing she’s been consistent with is fighting these dope peddling scumbags! As long as those guys keep getting nailed I don’t care who takes the credit.

Hartselle police found “a large amount” of marijuana, more than $4,000 in cash and a .45-caliber handgun after stopping a vehicle on U.S. 31 South for a taillight violation Sunday, Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin said.

Drug Task Force agents were called to the traffic stop after HPD Sgt. Kel Roberts obtained verbal consent to search the vehicle and discovered the contraband, Franklin said.

People....it says Hartselle police found...task force agents were called because that is protocall...HPD arrest or are yall reading something I am not?? I am not bashing the Sheriff, but HPD according to the article made the stop, got verbal consent to search, made the find.

I just wished they would work on finding some of these little thieves out there... I've not seen any arrest on break ins...

Rose there are articles on 9/21, 10/1 and 10/10, concerning arrests on suspects for theft and robbery made by HPD and the County. Druggies and thieves are often one in the same. Good work officers!

more money in dope - even for the cops
