“We need to recruit that big industry, so we can raise our tax revenue,” Doss said. Why do you need to raise tax revenue? Is government something that always has to grow? Why would you not recruit industry so we can have jobs, so we can say "Made in the USA", so we can be productive and not looking for a handout, a bailout, or a loan from China?

Bringing in industry is not growing government... Hartselle better come up with some new revenue because they have a lot of projects in the works and are having difficulty paying for them. If alcohol sales are voted down again, and no new substantial industry comes in, where do you think the extra revenue will be coming from?? That's right, our pockets... Folks better wake up.

What we need is someone with the brains to fix the traffic lights downtown. What a joke "the improvement" has been.

Alcohol sales will not help,it will hurt, you will then need to hire more police to handle the problems that alcohol brings with it, i Would Rather Pay More Taxes Than See Our Town Go Down, Like It Will With Alclhol

They Can Bring More Jobs To Hartselle By Opening Up The Hartselle Hospital
