HUNTSVILLE (AP) — School officials in Huntsville say they've placed a physical education teacher on administrative leave following his arrest on alcohol and drug charges.
Authorities say 45-year-old Lewis Gregory is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, and having an open container.
School officials told WAFF-TV that Gregory is a physical education teacher at Ed White Middle School.
Jail records show that he was arrested early Saturday morning. It wasn't known early Monday whether Gregory has an attorney in the case.
