Leveling the playing field
Hartselle crews ready grounds for springs sports

Hartselle City Parks & Recreation Department employees started work Wednesday, Jan. 23, readying the baseball fields for spring play. Above, the maintenance department worked Thursday, Jan. 24, fertilizing grass and leveling the dirt for the beginning of the baseball season. The Hartselle High School baseball team’s first game will be Monday, Feb. 18, at Buckhorn, and the softball team’s first game will be at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21 against Bob Jones at home.
