Tim and Lynn Louallen of Moulton, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Christie Lynn Louallen, to Richard Tyler Strickland, son of Sam and Pauline Strickland of Muscle Shoals.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edward and Winnie Sue Louallen, Rosemarie Sheeks and the late Billie Sheeks, all of Moulton. She is a 2010 graduate of The University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed by Helen Keller Hospital.

The groom is the grandson of the late Morris and Mary Strickland, and the late Barnett and Lois Bentley. He is a 2010 graduate of The University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He is employed by Helen Keller Hospital.

The wedding will be September 15, 2012 at 5:00 in the afternoon at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Moulton. Reception to follow.
