RUSSELLVILLE — A Mississippi man who was upset with officials at Red Bay Hospital and threatened to blow the hospital up and then threatened a police dispatcher, has been indicted for making a terrorist threat, authorities said.

Courthouse officials said Larry Dean Miller, 49, 7925 State Line Road, Golden, Miss., was indicted on two charges of making terrorists threats.

The indictments were issued during the recently concluded September grand jury session.

Miller was arrested on March 9 by Red Bay Police.

Authorities said Miller got mad with the hospital staff because he couldn’t see his father, who was a patient there, and was asked to leave the facility.

Police said Miller threatened the staff and said he was going to blow up the hospital and then called the Red Bay Police Department and threatened the dispatcher and her family.

Making a terrorist threat is a Class C felony, which is punishable by 1-10 years in prison, if convicted.

Miller is being held in the Franklin County Jail on bail of $500,000.
