This mayor is in way over his head. I don't think he is corrupt, he just doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing. He needs the guidance of the council whether they are a joke or not. Apparently this council needs therapy to see how they can get along.

First of all the mayor sold the batting cages back in 2004 and Academy was NOT open when he went to Bass Pro in B;ham,how do you know what he bought?? Maybe just maybe Academy didn't have what he wanted but I bet none of you have thought about that have yall????

Here are a few things that might explain the reason that Ms. Busby was put on "adminstrative leave" and is getting the brunt of this fiasco

How many females were there on the trip to New York? (one)

How many females are on the city council? (none)

Unlike Huntsville, how many females have we had for mayor? (none)

How many females had an input into the refinancing to the citys' debt? (none)

How many of the city council have declared "personal bankruptcy? (one)

But, I'm sure all of these things are by coincidence. Ms. Busby did exactly what she was instructed to do and NONE of these MEN even took the time to read it. Maybe during the next four years we should send these brilliant businessMEN back to school and take a course in 'READING AND COMPREHENSION". Are you getting ther picture yet?

This whole dialogue and speculation is just making me tired. I had no idea a certain gender held the key to both logic and reason. With that being said, I wish people spent this much energy on examining their selection in the voting booth.

I cannot believe the Mayor is stupid enough to think he will be allowed to handle settling of the money. He has done the worse job with his three friends that we have ever had in the history of Decatur. He is incompetent of handling anything much less the finances of this city. He has proven what he can do and that is to cost the tax payers a fortune along with his friend's Reeves, Hammons, and Anders.We have had enough... you all are a disgrace . I think it would be wise for you to resign. There are serious issues that need to be taken care of and you don't even mention them.

Ronnie Russell and Billy Jackson haven't had a chance with you dumb clucks. You came in and took over and everyone knew none of you were capable of running the city. The fun is over and it is time to step aside and allow Ronnie and Billy try to get us back on track.
