By Sheryl Marsh

We do NOT need a Buddie Buzz Brown! Thompson has done a wonderful job. Was there not a story on Buzz in the DD a while back about another case? Maybe the DD can reprint it and remind us of what it was.

The DAILY will get to your request when they can Jimmy. Right now they are too busy trying to get the Obama girl Paler elected. They will get around to your guy Thompson, the Obama boy when they can.

Well I can say I attended the forum, I was pleased that it was done in a professional manner and that nither candidate holds any an animosity toward the other. I personally liked one thing Ms. Howell talked about and that was to have a day of open court ie meaning if two parties were at and agreement then they could go on that day and have it finalized to give way on the docket for other cases.

Most all of the candidates said that the state's budget problems are the reason for under funding of the prisons and so forth I don't see that as a Morgan county issue I feel that if you commit a crime in this county you should be sentenced according to that crime not to the budget woes of the state, The State legislators are the ones who created the problem so let the state deal with them, Send the criminals state side and don't worry about the funding the state just got their hands on a half a Billion dollars.

Community Corrections I'm not yet sold on this is this the program that that young man was enrolled that later tried eluding the police and it ended with him killing a innocent member of our COMMUNITY!

@ poster Morgan county I may not be voting for Ms. Paler or Mr. Thompson and it won't have anythng to do with them being Democrats These two people have served this community Honorbly long before Mr. President Obama was elected to the Senate of the State of Illinois. You talk of nothing but Propaganda and Propaganda has no merit or substance. You see I read the book.[ Propaganda Techniques of the German Fascist]

nice slanted article, one partial quote by Brown and a paraphrase of another. Yet 3 paragraphs on Thompson including a complete quote. Paler had nothing but complaints about the Republican Legislature, and hints that they should raise taxes.
