Thanks to union boss Paul Hubbard, this woman has been paid her salary of 40K/yr for the last four years while awaiting trial. During this time, she was able to attend college and obtain her Master's Degree which gave her a raise of $4,400/yr while not working. Makes me proud to belong to a union where union boss Paul Hubbard can stick it to the rest of you taxpayers. heh, heh. Thanks for your support Jeremy Oden!
Jeremy Oden....hahahahah.....just a big--excuse--LITTLE JOKE.....Paul Hubbard's a Politician's delight......$$$$$$$$$$$$$
If she has been drawing a salary while on leave, do not blame Hubbard. It was her administration who chose to put her on leave pending trial. She is innocent until proven guilty, as we all should be. What if the entire episode was fabricated and a jury reviews the evidence and finds her not guilty? Ted seems to imply that we have but one system of justice: trial by media.
Let me help you out here Sparkman Junior. It is because our wonderful union boss Paul Hubbard dictates to her admistration as to what they must do in this situation and you and the other taxpayers can't do anything about it. Again, a special big "Thank You" goes out to Jeremy Oden and all other lock steppers like him that makes all of this possible. Ain't life sweet?
really?
All this may be true on both ends but why can't these people be made to come in and work for their salary? If nothing else they could pick up trash around the schools or change the oil in the buses. I don't think they should be allowed to sit at home and draw a check or go to school either. Let us not forget the coach from Brewer High School that was having an affair with a graduated student since her 10th grade. He was finaly caught when he had an alcohol party at Guntersville State Park but because the State dropped the charges the MCBOE put him back to work in the classroom. They claim they can't do anything because the girl has graduated already. That's a bunch of CRAP!! The state BOE just stopped the teacher in Baldwin County from receiving anymore pay after several years of her being in prision for having sex with a minor. I'm sick and tired of paying these perverts salary with our tax dollars. Wake up Alabama and elect people that are not affraid to do whats right for the public instead of hiding it behind closed doors.
It's like this Gorden. Doing right for the public doesn't add to your campaign coffiers like doing right for union boss Paull Hubbard'. Eh, what say you Jeremy?
Again what ever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? If she was not being paid the last few years, when she is found innocent, would you give her back pay and all her back benefits?
Before passing judgement you need to wait and see what really comes out at the trial.
I believe what Ted is trying to get across is beyond just this one trial. Again and again school employees are being paid to stay home until legal matters are resovled which in most cases takes years. As suggested by someone else, why not put them to work doing something other than teaching? Tax payers should not be paying anyone to stay home, regardless of any charge.
If she is found guilty she should have to pay back the salary she has drawn during her leave. I know she is innocent until proven guilty but why pay her while she sits on her behind..........When she has proven her innocence then maybe she should be paid for the time she lost.............
Ted how do yu know that she went to school, got degree and the amount of pay increase...you been doing a little snoopinng???? And maybe posting this at work??? maybe at school???
