Moulton man dies following Friday wreck

A Moulton man died Friday of an unknown medical condition following a one-vehicle wreck west of Decatur.

Jimmy Ray Jones, 67, of Moulton, died shortly after his 2013 Chevrolet crashed at 4:30 p.m. at Refreshment Place, a half-mile west of Decatur.

State troopers said Jones’ medical condition is not known. Jones was not listed as a patient at Decatur Morgan, Huntsville or Athens-Limestone hospitals.

Lawrence Funeral Home at 12950 Alabama 157 in Moulton will handle funeral arrangements.
