The speed limit on highway 24 is 55 MPH in this location and Mr. Dobbs had the green light. Our prayers are with all parties concerned because one life has been lost and one life has been forever affected. And our prayers are also with those too ignorant to know when to keep their mouths shut and their opinions to themselves.

I heard that the Ricks lady's light malfunctioned and it accidentally gave her a green light and she was suppose to have a red light. I am not taking sides in this case. I also heard that the Ricks lady ran the light. We will never know what happened because we were not there.

Josephine nobody is trying to cover this up. If the "hear say" you speak of is true the other driver should be punished according to the law. You really don't have to know someone personally just listen to remarks they make and most especially on something "you heard". The truth of the matter is we don't know the facts in which I am sure will come out during the investigation. It is just sad for you to make the remarks you are making without any evidence to back it up, other than " I was in Moulton and someone told me". You should not spread rumors in which that is all that is as of now. You are right you do have freedom of speech but you should choose your speech a little more carefully. Along with that constitutional right to "freedom of speech" it also says "innocent until proven guilty" and you have already accused the man of murder without one shread of evidence. There are ways of checking out your theory and they will get to the bottom of it.

If so, you are violating privacy laws. Chill out and get the facts or better yet, let the proper authorities gather the facts they need to determine who is at fault. If it comes back that she was in fact at fault are you going to suggest they check her mobile device as well? Maybe she was using her mobile device and ran the light...We don't know, we were not there. I am sorry that a life was lost and that anothers life will be changed forever because of an accident. Accidents happen all the time and not everyone that drives an automobile is texting. So unless you were in fact in the vehicle or at the scene of the accident you really should keep your slanderous, rude, ingnorant remarks to yourself~~
