Great news, it has been so sad for such a nice facility to be sitting there empty, snarled in red tape. Lack of a construction manager tells volumnes about our city management process.

I thought Jimmy Brothers was over construction in Decatur.

Mr. Brothers enforces the city's building code enforcement, he does not oversee construction projects.

for once I actually agree with Ronny. the city needs a construction and facilities manger.

before she was fired, Gail Busby acted as the cities manager on new projects and construction. I think that's part of why we are in this mess.

I WONDER IF THE SHELTER WILL BE OPEN ODD TIME WHEN FOLKS ARE OFF ie SAT SUN AND AFTER 5PM. GA TOWNS FOUND IMPROVED/INCREASED ADAPTIONS WHEN BANKERS HOURS WERE EITHER EXTENDED OR NOT USED
