MUSCLE SHOALS — A Muscle Shoals man is in jail accused of possessing dozens of photo albums filled with child pornography involving some children as young as 3 years old, officials said.

Myron Joe Sizemore, 60, 100 Edison Ave., Muscle Shoals, was arrested Thursday morning on a grand jury indictment. He is charged with possession of pornographic material, Colbert County Sheriff Ronnie May said.

Police investigators said they do not believe any of the photos are of local children.

Courthouse officials said Sizemore was indicted during the September grand jury session. May said arrest warrants were issued Wednesday and Sizemore was taken into custody Thursday morning. He remains in the Colbert County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
