I among many that wonders why they just don't wait until the new school year to open the new school. The original plan to move the students in between semesters was already silly, but to move everybody in the middle of the last semester makes even less sense.
Waiting until the new school year to move means that any renovations needed to make the current high school ready for 7th and 8th graders cannot be done.
