Ashley Lynn Nichols and Landon Kyle Parris have chosen Saturday, September 29, 2012 for their wedding day. Vows will be exchanged at 5:00 in the afternoon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Moulton. Bro. J.P. Lipscomb, grandfather of the groom, and Bro. Jamin Grubbs will officiate. A reception will follow at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt McKean of Moulton and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Nichols, Decatur. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Regina Tomerlin and the late Carl Tomerlin of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Mrs. Aurelia Nichols and the late Robert Nichols of Thomasville, Ala.
Miss Nichols is a 2006 graduate of Lawrence County High School and a 2010 graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Parris of Gadsden. He is the grandson of J.P. and Francis Lipscomb and the late Linda Lipscomb and the late Lonnie and Jeanette Parris, all of Gadsden.
Mr. Parris is a 2005 graduate of Gaston High School and a 2011 graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He is employed as a registered nurse at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.
